Joel Fajerman
Joel Fajerman, born in 1948, started his career as a Rock performer. In 1973 he specialized in synthesizers. In the late seventies he started to compose music for television advertisements, television series and radio and TV programmes. Fame reached him in the early eighties thanks to his wonderful soundtrack for the documentary series L'AVENTURE DES PLANTES, devoted to the life of the plants. At 17, he joined a rock band then toured in the 1960s and 1970s with entertainers like Nicoletta, Mike Brant, Dario Moreno and Claude Francois. In 1976, he co-directs the generic Series 30 Million Friends, composed by Jack Arel, which he made the arrangements. In 1978 he composed his first instrumental piece in Japan on behalf of an engineer, a country where he gave several concerts. In 1986, he became a member of SACEM. To mark the bicentennial of the French Revolution, he co-wrote the soundtrack and title song from the animated television series of Canal + The Children of Freedom, with Brenda. In 1989, he worked on three seasons of a television series of 26 documentaries called Inventions of life for Canal + and Antenne 2.
